Count to Ten and Exhale

I’m a thirty-seven year old former workaholic turned SAHM of four spectacular kids.  After living in Europe and all across the United States, I found myself back in my home town in southeastern Kentucky.  Growing up I always said this place was like a Stephen King setting; you can try to leave, but it will always draw you back.

I grew up being the middle child of four to a Southern Baptist Deacon and his wife.  I had a typical screwed up, sheltered, and memorable childhood that should have landed me in therapy.  Yet it landed me here… using the world wide web as my therapist!

I’m a proud Eighties child.  I came of age during the time of big hair, flourescent colors, parachute pants, the birth of the music video, and one hit wonders.  I wouldn’t trade that time for anything and wouldn’t relive it no matter what!

Hopefully this blog is a collection of writings about my daily life, my family, my crafting, my rants, my raves, and anything that stirs my heart and mind.
